Cormac’s Random Noodlings? There’s not much to say about this blog. It’s just my own minuscule space on the world wide web where I write any old rubbish that comes into my head.
There may be the odd comment about politics, about radio and TV, about my relatively uneventful life, maybe even the odd sermon. I’ve no grand plan.
As for my blog’s scheme of a tropical beach, it may look out of place on a blog written by a man who has never been any further south than 35° north. But I chose this scheme in December 2010, during the most horrible winter in years. And I like the font that comes with it, and everybody knows how I love the sunshine.

Aaaarrgh!! This WordPress jiggery-pokery is driving me round the bend! All I want to do is add my little random blocks of text and the odd photo or two and these bozos are asking me about widgets and emoticons!
When all is said and done, I’m just a simple guy and I just need a simple text editor program. I’ll get this silly old website to work for me if it’s the last thing I do!
Cormac – Greetings again from the USA. We corresponded briefly after your father’s passing and I was hoping to ask you some questions about his days in Men of No Property. As I told you, Brian and I became friends in 1998 when I was doing a study of muralists so I spent the next couple of years focusing on his art work. I’ve recently been studying the political music of the early Troubles and, of course, Men of No Property are a seminal part of that scene. Can we converse on email?
